Can you believe YouTube has only existed in our lives since 2005? Back then, the internet was a very different place. On-site backends and peer-to-peer file sharing networks like LimeWire and Kazaa, videos were large, slo0w-loading files. YouTube’s specialty was definitely making video faster and more accessible, and as a result, it’s now the world’s second most-visited site, after parent company, Google, of course.

According to Google, YouTube’s billions of monthly users watch more than one billion hours of video each day. That’s a lot of footage. And, with Pinkfong’s “Baby Shark Dance” becoming the first video to surpass 10 billion views, these are the Most Viewed Videos On YouTube of all time.

The undisputed king of children’s songs is also the most viewed YouTube video by far. You’ve probably heard the song “Baby Shark,” and if you haven’t, you don’t spend much time around young children. This song, which was uploaded on June 18, 2016, has become an earworm for anyone who hears it. Children will enjoy watching the video as well.

➯ Luis Fonsi ft. Daddy Yankee – “Despacito” – 7.93 billion views

“Despacito,” which debuted on January 13, 2017, put Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi on the map. This reggaeton and pop song topped the charts in 47 countries and was nominated for four Latin Grammys, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Urban Fusion/Performance. The video also won Best Short Form Music Video at the 18th Latin Grammys. This song is still as soulful in 2022 as it was when it was released in 2017.

“Johny Johny Yes Papa,” another children’s song, was released on October 8, 2016. It’s a cartoon video about a baby who is caught by his father eating sugar. It’s only 1:40 long and comes with a collection of nursery rhymes performed by the LooLoo Kids.

“Shape of You,” one of the most successful songs of the twenty-first century, reached number one in 34 countries. This song won the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance the same year it was released, on January 30, 2017. The video is currently the second most-watched music video. One of Ed Sheeran’s most well-known songs.

This song, which appears on the Furious 7 soundtrack, was famously written for and dedicated to actor Paul Walker. Walker was tragically killed in a car accident in late 2013. It was uploaded to YouTube on April 6, 2015, and features themes from the film. The piano and singing complement each other very well in bringing the song together.

You’ve probably heard of Cocomelon if you’re a parent. This is one of the most popular YouTube channels to date, with 140 million subscribers. This animated video depicts two children taking a bath. There are numerous nursery rhymes from which parents can choose, but this video has the most views for Cocomelon.

On March 7, 2014, another animated video for children, “Phonics Song with Two Words,” was uploaded to YouTube. It uses animated graphics to help children learn spelling and phonics. ChuChu TV is an Indian YouTube network with a plethora of other videos.

This is a children’s video that shows the difference between colors using animated eggs and features Old McDonald singing in the background. This video, created by Miroshka TV, a Russian children’s animation channel with 18 million subscribers, teaches children how to say specific colors in Russian. The eggs break apart, reassemble as a larger egg, and change shapes based on color dyes applied by a machine.

➯ Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars – “Uptown Funk” – 4.64 billion views

This video has been viewed over 4.64 billion times and is arguably one of the catchiest songs released in the last ten years. It was uploaded on November 19, 2014, and it shows Ronson and Mars dressed in the 1970s – 1980s attire simply walking around town and singing. At that year’s Grammy Awards, the song was named Record of the Year.

This 6:52 video is an episode of a Russian animated television show and is one of the longer videos on the countdown. Another submission from a Russian animation channel. This episode, which aired on January 31, 2012, features the Bear making porridge for Masha.
